Dory was born here at Apenimon in July 2010. She was a singleton puppy and from day one has had a strong, dominant personality with LOADS of drive and intellegence. So, she gets to stay here and is enjoying her roll as resident princess. Dory took to flyball very quickly. She has the focus to compete but as of yet is lacking the confidence to work far from me. She started "warm ups" in September and by the end of the weekend was looking very strong. Hopefully she will be competing by Spring. I have a feeling it will take a few years for Dory to settle enough to do any serious obedience training. Right now she is much more interested in how much energy she can burn off instead of polite heeling. She is best friends with Lor and they should have a wonderful time growing up together. |
