Rescue Dogs
Aussies are a very high energy and intelligent breed. Many times, people may not
understand this when looking at a cute puppy. Aussies take a lot of time, training,
and exercise.

As a person who cares about the breed, I occasionally have Aussies or Aussie
mixes (Or sometimes another breed altogether) that I am fostering and training to
place in another home. When this is the case, they will be listed here with a brief
description. Unless otherwise noted, all rescue dogs will be spayed or neutered
and current on all preventative medicine (vaccines, deworming, heartworm and flea
preventative)

If you are interested in a rescue and are in the midwest, please consider adopting
from Protege Canine Rescue. Also please visit the Aussie Rescue and Placement
Helpline (ARPH)
. Consider a rescue for your next family member.
