Panda
Bordering on Panda-Monium
CGC, TDI, FMX, TF-III
Panda was a "puppy out of a box." I saw a vet school classmate of mine in
the parking lot one day, and she was very upset because she had this little
tiny pup that a family had in a box along the road and were planning on
leaving her there if no one took her (this was in December in Iowa). So she
took the dog, but living in an appartment had no where to go with it. So I told
her I would foster the pup and find it a good home, because I was certantly
NOT looking for another dog.

As she grew, we realized that she is most likely an English Pointer.
Although we will never know for sure, that is what she is to us. I found a
home for her but when I told my husband he asked "oh, so we really are
getting rid of her?" Thus Panda got to stay. My husband had been looking
for a bird dog to train for pheasant hunting, and had fallen for her.

She did turn out to be a great dog, although very different from what I was
used to. She has her CGC and TDI and is actively competing in flyball. She
is currently the #3 Pointer competing in all of North America.
