Ripley
Shoreland Believe it or Not
CD, RN, CGC, TDI, FMX, TFE
After Conner, Ripley was sure a suprise. Our plan was to get a second dog
to keep Conner company, as he always enjoyed being with our friend's
dogs and seemed depressed after we left a group outing. So we
contacted Conner's breeder to see if she had anything available. It turned
out that she had recently whelped a pet litter and had one male available
that she thought would be perfect for our household.

Ripley was a very difficult pup. He screamed in his kennel, refused to come
to us, and was in general a very stubborn pup. However, Ripley and I
worked through our differences and he is now one of my most trusted and
loyal dogs. Our breakthrough with Ripley was clicker training and really
good treats. Once we worked out a communication system, it was smooth
sailing.

Ripley comptetes in flyball and obdience, even showing up his older
brother on numerous occasions. He woud love to do herding, showing a
great deal of natural tallent. He is currently working on his CDX and rally
advanced titles.
