I had been looking for a cardi for several months when I found Hedgerow Kennels online.
I was looking for a cardi that could do well both in the breed ring but also have the
natural ability to compete in performance events such as flyball, agility, and maybe even
herding.

What a wonderful dog! George is very intelligent and easy to train as he is eager to
please. We are currently working on basic obedience. We had hoped that George
would enjoy flyball with the rest of the family, but so far the joy of the sport has eluded him
as he does not like the loud noises. Maybe obedience will be his thing?

Many thanks to Beth Magnus for allowing George to travel so far away and for all of the
wonderful information that she has provided to us.

George did well in the show ring for several years, but recently have decided to retire
him from showing in order to pursue more performance events. He is in training to earn
his CD. The first two attempts didn't go so well, but we had some valuable learning
experiences from them and in a few months will be ready to try again.
